Our Story

Our story began in a church community in Ghent, where a Congolese and a Cameroonian found each other. What started as a friendship grew into something we could not ignore. The road was not always easy, but through every season of waiting, God remained faithful. We began our courtship in prayer, were presented to our church family, and got engaged surrounded by loved ones. From Hervé traveling to Kumba with his family's representatives to meet Raissa's family, to the traditional wedding that followed, to the civil ceremony at Ghent's City Hall, the church service at Blaisantkerk, and the celebration at Gildenhuis, our journey spans two continents and four celebrations, each one built on faith and gratitude. Today, we celebrate what God has built. Not always an easy story, but a faithful one.
